Pursue the Passion

The goal of Pursue the Passion is to get people to think differently about career paths. We want current and future workforces to not only realize that they can be passionate about a career, but we want to provide them with the tools to do so. Through our website, speaking program, and initiatives in the classroom, we are playing a meaningful role in reversing the long-term negative trends in employment statistics.

Pursue the Passion started as a group of college students who had no idea what to do with their lives after graduation. The solution to their dilemma was to hit the road and explore different career options by interviewing people about their career paths. They found a sponsor in Jobing.com, bought an RV, and started exploring the possibilities. Sixteen thousand miles and hundreds of interviews later, their concept has turned into a flagship program of the Jobing Foundation.

There are three things that we focus on accomplishing:

1. Public speaking. Through our stories and insight gathered on the road, our goal is to expose current and future workforces to the different possibilities and opportunity when it comes to choosing a career path. If you are interested in having Pursue the Passion speak at your conference, classroom, or any other event, please contact Brett Farmiloe (brett(at)pursuethepassion.com)

2. We want this website to be a resourceful destination to find information about careers. Inside you will find videos and stories from our interviews, a blog that talks about careers and what's going on in our lives, and other resourceful tools. We welcome you in being part of its success.

3. Conducting informational interviews is the best way to improve communication skills while catalyzing critical thinking. Because of this, we've made it a goal to offer students the opportunity to conduct their own interviews. If you are interested in bringing the Pursue the Passion program to your classroom, we can give you all the materials you need to get the ball rolling.
